Privacy Policy
This policy covers readandrip.com, learn.readandrip.com, and the Read & Rip Publisher, the tool READ & RIP QB L.C. (“Read & Rip,” “we”) uses to post its own videos to TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. The Read & Rip app at readripqb.com has its own policy on that site.
This website
- No accounts, forms, ads or tracking. We don't run analytics, ad pixels or tracking cookies on this site.
- Hosting. The site is hosted on GitHub Pages, and its domain is managed through Cloudflare. Like any web host, they may log basic technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver and protect the site.
- Fonts. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the fonts load.
- When you contact us. If you email, call or text us, or book through Calendly, we receive what you send (for example your name, email, phone number and your player's details) and use it only to answer you and run your training or film report. Calendly's own privacy policy covers bookings made there.
The Read & Rip Publisher
The Publisher is an internal tool. It is used only by Read & Rip to upload Read & Rip's own videos to Read & Rip's own accounts on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. It is not offered to the public, and it does not access anyone else's accounts.
When we connect one of our accounts, the platform shares the following with the Publisher, with our permission:
- basic profile information for that account (account ID, username, display name)
- access tokens that let the Publisher upload videos and captions to that account
- the status of each upload, and basic information about posts the Publisher created
We use this information only to publish and manage our own posts. We don't sell it, share it, or use it for advertising. Tokens are stored on Read & Rip's own computer, never published, and kept only while the account is connected.
The Publisher's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. YouTube uploads are subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
Removing access and deleting data
- TikTok: Settings and privacy → Security → Apps and services permissions → remove Read & Rip Publisher.
- Instagram / Meta: Settings → Apps and websites (or Business integrations) → remove Read & Rip Publisher.
- Google / YouTube: visit myaccount.google.com/permissions and remove access for Read & Rip Publisher.
- To ask us to delete anything we hold about you, email zachtrainor@readripqb.com with the subject “Data deletion request.” We'll delete it within 30 days and confirm by email.
Children
We coach young players, but this site doesn't collect information directly from children. A parent or guardian handles bookings and communication for players under 18.
